Kind of sad
Well I just watched my truck drive off into the sunset with some stranger behind the wheel. Other than the HPFP issue that was a darn good truck- I put 110k miles on her and not one of them was easy!...

I'm the same way, but I think its more about the memories associated than the actual vehicle.
When I sold my first real motorcycle 2 years ago it was very sad. It wasn't so much the hunk of metal... it was the memories of going for rides out to dinner with my girlfriend, now my wife. It was memories of long summer evening rides, just the two of us. Getting rid of the motorcycle felt like getting rid of those memories.
When we sold the Tundra earlier this year, it was like getting rid of memories of all the camping trips. Its worse because my 3 year old will occasionally ask me where my white truck is (new one is gray).
The piece of metal is irrelevant to me, but the memories are priceless.
