Or if having to go that route where the faucet will need to be removed anyway, try removing the original faucet, check the PEX crimp for signs of leakage and recrimp as necessary. Big Box hardware stores sell the PEX crimping tool.
If it is the threaded part, use try using teflon tape on the threads and see if that seals it up. If it is the faucet leaking and not the connector areas, replace faucet per donn0128.
If you are unable to do the work, then you will have to pay to get it done.
Do you use a pressure regulator on your city water connection?
