Thank you AnEv942 for the advise. The only reason I thought of repainting the stove is because it looks to me like because either its so old that the stainless steel is chipping off which I don't think it can do that or when they painted it with a stainless steel look back in 82 its just wearing, chipping away at time has gone bye. I just don't know. The door on the oven is great but the stove top looks really old. I know that sounds stupid Duh it is old but there are things that look old and look good old but some things really look crappy. I will try and get some close up pics so you can see what I mean
