Kitchen in slide... steer clear or no big deal??

Thread title is kind of self explanatory, but what are your experiences? There are horror stories, to be sure... just like with almost any element of RVs, but I'm wondering how big a deal this really...

Our frig and stove are in a slide and no problems. I would be more concerned with the sink in the slide. The propane hose to frig and stove is very flexible but the drain lines from a sink could pose a problem.
