K&N
Who has replaced their stock air filter with a K&N? Are they really better? Improve performance, gas mileage, etc.

Amsoil makes a better alternative with their EA air filters. They're just dry filters so no messy oil. You vacuum the dirty side to clean it every 25,000 miles and they're guaranteed for 100,000 miles. I've had mine on for about 90,000 miles so far and it still looks almost new. My filter is way oversized so I might be able to go well beyond 100,000 miles. My intake and throttle plate still stay clean.
