KSScuba....so where do things stand???

Wondering if your trailer status has changed. Were you able to work something out re the dinette and sofa bed?? Did you start back at Square 1?? Hoping for some good news.

Agreed. Best practices aren't so obvious to those who are new to the forum, especially in a high stress situation like this. If you see someone who's fairly new getting off track then maybe drop them a PM explaining the best way they should go about getting their questions answered. Help them out because for all we know this is the first forum they've ever joined.

However, the whole multi-thread deal didn't really bother me and made it a little easier. The two stolen trailer ones were crossovers and could've been consolidated. The other two were about unwanted options, but each would have its own unique fix. People often create loaded topics with multiple questions. You end up with part of the crowd responding to one part while others respond to other parts. It ends up being confusing since there's 2 or 3 separate threads going on in one. Separate topics makes it a heck of a lot easier when doing a search for a subject.

I actually enjoyed following along with the whole situation and would like to thank KSScubaDiver for sharing her experiences. Some may berate you for asking questions about the situation that you're in or gotten yourself into, but remember that there's always someone out there with the same questions and will use your threads as a learning experience. There is no such thing as a stupid question. Also remember that some people wake up grumpy and stay that way all day everyday. Just ignore them and move on.
  • For a relatively new member of the forum who's been through a dreadful experience and may have compounded the stress level, I think an extra dose of compassion is good, even if it means another thread, don't you agree? If seeing an extra thread is troublesome to some, suggest you not read it. If you can't say something nice.........
  • I did post yesterday afternoon, asking that you all don't get me wrong, and we do like our TT very much. The only issue is the tri fold sleeper. I am waiting to hear from the RV dealership in regard to the measurements, and then we will go from there. As for the table and chairs, we are leaving them the way they are.

We traded our Coachmen TT for the Heritage Glen 302FK. The new one is slightly better than our Coachmen one.

Thank you, dadmomh, for your concern :-) And thank you, Dog Folks, for posting my comments in reply to dadmomh's question.

It is literally hard to follow this story here on the forum. She had two threads going simultaneously on the stolen/found trailer. Thankfully, a moderator finally closed one of them and directed people to the remaining open one. Then she opened another two threads (one for each unwanted option) about her problems with her new purchase after buying a trailer with options she didn't want/like and expected the dealer to change them for her at no charge. And now there is yet another thread dealing with this situation, although I certainly understand the difficulty in finding/tracking the previous threads....

Just what the forum needs, another thread on the subject. :R

We all feel bad for her experiences, especially the stolen/found trailer. I think trading that trailer was the right thing for her to do, although it isn't clear from her posts whether they actually traded in the old trailer or not. It seems that she is willing to live with the new trailer and see how it goes. I hope she finds peace of mind and enjoys it.

Here is what he/she said yesterday (12/01): "We have decided to leave the table and chairs for now and see how it goes. Maybe we will end up liking them after all. Who knows."
