My camper will kill my battery after a week or so of not being plugged in. Even when everything appears to be off, there are things still siphoning power from the battery. Its perfectly normal. I disconnect the negative terminal when the camper will be sitting to keep the battery charged.
When purging the gas lines it can take several seconds for the air to be purged and gas to arrive at the burners. The fridge will try a couple times to light, but of there is a lot of air in the lines it might fault out before lighting. I try and make sure I can light the cook top before asking the fridge to run on gas.
