The fridge cools faster on gas then electric. I leave my trailer plugged in all year. If your dealer provided you with the starter kit either in a box or plastic bucket it should have a sewer hose, short fresh water hose, chemicals for the black tank and a 15 amp to 30 amp adaptor and some even have a sponge and rv wash). If not as stated Walmart has them in the rv section part of sporting goods
