KZ Spree Connect C283BHS. comments on model or mfg

KZ Spree Connect C283BHS

Looked at this camper yesterday and they seemed to have a pretty good sales price on it, somewhere around $25K.

Not really familiar with this model or manufacturer so any comments, concerns, praises or points of discussion would be extremely helpful in my decision process.

Thanks
  • KZ is a pretty good brand. That Connect model is similar to mine. You may want to consider the models with the rear beds and bath swapped. Where we camp, that rear door would walk right into neighbors campsites/firepits for example. Something like the Keystone Passport 2810. A newer variation on that floorplan is something like the Keystone Bullet Premier 29BHPR with kitchen slide.

That model should be closer to $20k than $25k, plus TTL and WDH.
  • We have a Spree Connect (model 220RBK) and we love it. We are on our 2nd year of ownership and we are currently on a 2 month trip in it now. All total we have logged about 4 months in it since we bought it. We love the outside kitchen and we think the layout is perfect for our needs. It is made well and we have had minor issues as anyone should expect with a new TT. The great thing is it has a two year warranty. We haven't had a warranty claim yet. All minor concerns are just cared for by our great dealer. I can't emphasize enough how important a trustworthy dealer can be.
  • I don't have a Spree, but I did recently purchase a 2015 KZ Sportsman 301BH, used it for the first time this past weekend and liked it a lot. The only issue was the electric jack was flaky (didn't always work), and the sink has a slight drip. That's it. We are very happy so far and KZ is replacing the jack under warranty at no cost to me.

I know it's not a spree, but thought this might help.
