Lacrosse 318BHS

The family are buying a 2014 Lacrosse 318BHS. We think we've negotiated a good price and thought I'd ask here for some opinions. It has a MSRP of $42,221 we are currently at $30,085. Is this where we should be or is it too high?

Thanks
John
  • Seems like a pretty fair price, probably could get another $1-2K off if you really searched around. For example the MSRP on my unit was $33,400 and I paid $19,500 plus tax and license.
  • Is this CAN$ or US$? I have seen transaction prices for under $24k USD on it, $26k for Touring. Last summer I stopped at a dealer that had the 318, the Tracer version, a Jayco Eagle, and Keystone Outback 312, Laredo 303TG. The 318 had a sales price sticker of $24995, so I'm certain that one could have been negotiated lower. That TT is on my short list of next RVs!

This is Canadian$ I'm able to get the Laredo 303TG locally as well the best price I was able to get on that one was $500 more than the lacrosse and it had fewer options no power jacks and all the little stuff that would be nice to have but don't remotely need. We started looking at the passport 3220, but the wife liked the 303TG more. After looking at them both I feel like the build quality of the lacrosse is better than the laredo
  • Cool. The features of the Lacrosse line, conveniences and luxuries, like you said not needed but sure are nice. Especially at the market price. As long as you have the TV for it, the 318 is hard to beat IMHO.

I have no idea what good CAN pricing is, but seems you could do a bit better.
