:) Hi, at home I use an extension ladder, but prefer the telescoping type. While camping a gust of wind broke my rear vent lid off. I was loaned a telescoping ladder and the broken lid was duct taped back in place just before a heavy rain storm moved in. As for the permanently mounted ladders they seem to be just a rack for strapping******on them that could fall off right in front of me at freeway speeds.
