Lance 1030 owners?

I really like the Lance 1030, plus I'm still not sure about getting a slide in a camper and the prices are more in line with what I want to spend. What I've read recently though is issues with the rear skirts delaminating on the fiberglass sided ones. Do any of you that may have a 1030 have any comments about them? I'm looking at a 2003-2005. Also, the one I've seen that I like the best has a propane generator. I do some winter (read: cold, NOT snowy!) camping and wonder about the propane usage since I'll be using the furnace. I've never had a generator before, so this would be new to me; especially if it's propane.

This is the one I'm thinking about so far...

2003 Lance 1030

Thanks!

Dak

That looks very similar in layout to my 1055, maybe broaden your search to include that model

Well, we have had threads about this before :) but this "propane generator" person likes his push button generator.

I thought the photo looked like at least the passenger side skirt was delaminating... :-( It's a far drive for me to go look at it to so they would have to fix it before I would pay their price. Or they would really have to make it worth my while price wise if I had someone else fix it. I DON'T want another project camper!! Did that for far too many years in my younger days! My next camper is to take me into retirement next year..

I suppose I should use me common sense about the propane generator... I too carry a couple gallons of gasoline with I travel.

    Thanks again!

  • If you look at the pics you can tell those skirts are already in need of attention.
