Lance 1062 - Anyone Bought One?

Anyone have a Lance 1062. I kinda like the looks of it on paper, but haven't see one in person yet.
  • I like the looks of it but hate they put such a small grey tank in it. I'd consider one except for that.

I told the Lance rep that a show and all he could say was bring a blue tote tank...yeah thanks! :)
  • Wife didn,t like the bathroom tight between were you get out of the shower also the TV is hard to see from the dinette
  • Lance says its the "Shortest double slide, dry bath on the market, now with even more room!". I assume this claim is for a long bed truck.

However, I was looking at a double slides too and noticed this long bed camper for the first time yesterday and it is shorter than the 1062 by about 18" .. but have not as yet been able to locate one to go take look at. If I replace my existing 11.5 footer double slide, my first requirement is to be shorter .

    Aspen (Long Bed) DS 9'6"

Interesting how our concepts of "big" and "small" have changed in a short time. Before basement model TCs started to appear about 12 years ago 27 gal would have been "big." Not anymore.

Along a similar vein, and not meaning to hijack the thread, slides have resuscitated the TC marketplace IMHO. Before they appeared about the same time as basements the TC market had just about been swallowed up by toy haulers in our area. Now it's coming back a bit.
  • Brad, how about an AF 1150 dry bath? One slide to contend with and big tanks if needed. We really like our AF 990.

Also look at the Host Shasta.
