The Lance 650 is definitely worth a look. I've currently got an Adventurer 89RB. I don't see that I would give up a whole lot with the 650...a little fluid capacity across all three tanks, a little interior room. With a Convection/Microwave it would have all the amenities of the 89RB, less 1/3 of the weight. This, on my F250, would make it a serious contender for off-road expeditions. The paradox of course is that you lose the capacity of extended off-roading as you lose a full propane tank, have less water capacity, and lose a battery.
On the plus side the wife did say "DO WHATEVER YOU WANT." I THINK that's approval?!?!?
