I have a 2002 Lance 815, the fresh water tank is located right in the step up to the cabover. The gray tank is expose and the drain line travels over the black tank, tying into the dump line just after the black tank dump valve. The black tank is behind the metal shield as in the pervious photos.

Ah, so this is actually the drain from the grey water tank? I wasn't aware that the fresh tank is where you say it is, but it does kinda make more sense.
