The 830 will fit a short bed truck, it is what it was designed for and so the COG is over the rear axle. I would add Supersprings to help support the weight of the camper. Also check at a CAT scale the actual weight of your truck at the rear axle and add 3,200 lbs. for the camper fully loaded and then take that number and divide it by 2 and check it against the maximum load rating for your tires.
When you get the camper take it to a CAT scale and check the weight again. It will include the weight for the tie-downs and other gear along with the camper and any additions (2nd battery, AC, generator, etc.).
When traveling you should allow for the 240 lbs. with the 830's 30 gallon fresh water tank being full.
