Mike, thanks for taking the time to write up this detailed letter...and to point out the obvious.
I agree with your assesment of the issue-I saw it myself when shopping TC's last year.
The battery location/layout is very poorly designed.
How the heck do you close the slide after you pull the batteries out for winter?
It is one of the reason we decided not to buy the 855S....and believe me we came close!
(We had our deposit returned and went eleswhere...)
I guess I would ask; after seeing this why did you buy this camper?
You seem to be a pretty detail oriented person-did you not see this when shopping?
Not trying to stir the pot...I agree with you...I just don't understand how you got to this point?
