Lance 855/855S Battery Compartment Safety Issues

I have a 2008 Lance 830 and my batteries are in a similar compartment with the same difficult white plastic boxes and all the wiring for the whole camper. Those plastic boxes were a pain to get on and off to check the batteries so I replaced the batteries with AGM's. I tossed those battery boxes, cut wider rectangles, and made my own larger lower boxes to fit larger group 31's.

Is your water pump down there too? Mine sits between the two battery boxes & I hope it doesn't spring a leak.
