I have had to make safety modifications to every boat I have ever owned and never relied 100% on the manufacturer or broker to get it right. It would have been wishful thinking on my part.
There may be RV's that has hydrogen gas buildup from offgassing batteries that exploded but I have not heard of a single instance. Has anyone?
Everything involves trade-offs of one sort or another. Every camper design I have seen has had its share of design flaws. There have been a great many camper modifications made to compensate.
I welded together a rack to hold a battery under the camper where it still is flush with the camper's bumper and it might be good for Lance to think outside the box when it comes to how and where to store the batteries for easy access with their camper models. This seems to be an afterthought on the part of their designers.
