As far as AGM battery brands, I am going to go with 6V 300AH Lifelines. I have read people have had good experiences with them.

AGM can still vent hydrogen under overcharging, but it is a very small amount. I am not even sure if it would be enough to fill a truck camper compartment to 4% (the threshold for an explosion).
