I'm not going to be separating most of the wood frame from the paneling, I will be replacing some of the pieces but there is still enough good stuff to not justify a complete rebuild of those. Polyethylene on the inside of the wood frame is not an option. some of the paneling is damaged, not as much from rot than just use, so I am thinking about covering what is already there with some new thin paneling and painting that. not sure if I would want to put the polyethylene between the inner and outer pieces of paneling. Possibly better to use a vapor barrier paint for either an interior paint or between the two layers or paneling.
Wasn’t able to work on the TC this week because DW and I were in Texas at our property. Had some projects to do to my TT while out there, I will post them in the DIY section when I get the pictures uploaded. I hope to get back on the TC tomorrow night and get the sides built so I can get the walls and floor back together.
The project may be going into double time here in the near future, we may be moving to Texas and I’ve got a lot to do to get the TC road worthy enough so parts and pieces don’t to fall off during the trek to Texas
