our 2010 1040 is aluminum.

I have an 08 and its partly aluminum and partly wood.
If your next question is .... are you kidding ? or why did they do that ?

I have an 06 845 and it's wood. I had a friend that had an 08 and it was aluminum.

IIRC, Lance introduced the aluminum framed camper in their Lance Max series in 05. You might check the Lance website under the "support" tab for verification.
