Lance has no drawings for older frames. Anybody saved some?

I went to Camping World in Las Vegas with the cover and they directed me to local RV dealer who has big parts department.
What computers could not find, they found in oldfashion paper catalog.
$100 and should be here in 4 days, then I will know for sure.

You measure the rough opening of the cut out on the roof to get the correct size

Now when I have frame fix pending, another part I need.
Skylight/escape hatch cover has cracks on it.
It is white cover in 20x26.5 size.
Lance again is no help.
I read on Lance forum that newer models do have advanced skylights and quotes are reaching 4-digits.
Anybody found cheaper alternative?

I went via the 2 rebuild topics.
Their situation is a bit different as they had extensive dryrot.
My camper coming from AZ has relatively solid wood, but with the age the inadequate engineering shows.
I see some metal under the slide support, but this looks more like roof flashing, with sheet metal and it not attached anywhere on the ends.
Right now I have pretty good idea what I am facing with the exception that none of the pictures shows front driver corner build and that is where I have main separation.
I also have stress mark where cabover starts, but hopefully that is still solid.
I am strong believer in laminating and have been doing that in hobby for 50 years, so beside adding metal angle under the slide, I plan to laminate all aged wood.

I'm surprised Lance can't provide you a frame lay out. They sent me 1 for my 95 815 lite. Good luck.

Kris, the 1161 and 1121 (my camper) were very similar TC's that shared some design points and problems. Both are single slideout, and even though the slides are on opposite sides, they are both "dinette-only" slides of the same size. If I remember right, the first year for both models was 2001, and the earliest ones had problems with sagging under the slide. Many of them of them were returned to the factory and repaired, and Lance made a design change to prevent the sagging on the later units.

On the inside of the camper below the slide, if you look at the bottom of the camper side wall where it meets the "wing", you should see a piece of 90* angle iron that runs the full length of the side wall. There may also be another piece of angle iron on the outside of that joint under the siding.

The slide on the 1121 is approximately in the middle of the passenger or curb side wall, with the fridge in front of it and the LP compartment behind it. On the 1161, the slide is on the driver or street side, only about 6" from the front jack. Consequently, the angle iron fix tended to work out better on the 1121's because it extended further on each side of the slide. On the 1161, the front camper tie down point could still cause some deflection under the slide because the slide opening is directly above it. A proper fix on the 1161 would need to join the angle iron under the slide to some steel reinforcement in the front jack corner.

Than again, once I saw main beam made of 3/4 x 2 1/2 fir, it is becoming clear what happen.
What consider decorative molding in household application, is put to hold 1500 lb in RV design.
