Lance hood brackets
Broke my second hood bracket for lance struts. Two within two years. Always the same one. Ford 450 sd 2012. Anyone else? Sent this one back to lance parts. No answer yet.

Dealer installed hooks on camper. I made sure they are the right struts. The passenger side is fine, The metal seems to weaken. Had the first one welded but no good. A lot of flexing when moving.
Curious as to what type of tiedowns you are using? Any type of material being used between the camper and the truck bed? Maybe the camper in moving more than usual putting unusual stress on the brackets. Just thinking out loud here.
