Lance model 1172(2013) pull out kitchen faucet handle

Our pull-out kitchen faucet handle has a plastic insert that has a crack causing a leak. I do not know the brand of faucet, cannot find it in literature or on the faucet. Is there anyone that may know it the plastic insert is a repair part that can be purchased and from where? I would post a picture but not sure I know how on the forums. I can email a photo of the insert.

thanks,
Steve
  • I cannot help you on your issue, but posting images is easy. Just go to THIS SITE and drag n' drop the file (or browse to it) and then copy and paste the resulting string into your reply text wordage.
  • I doubt you can find the part you need, likely you will have to replace the whole faucet. As a person that did it once before, I warn you ahead of time, likely the sink went in after the faucets did and it can be difficult to get back in there. In my case, there was a really small flange that fit the original faucet, and the new plate that goes underneath was much larger. I had to drill and chip out bits of 3/4 plywood using a mirror to see what I was doing. That was years ago, and I still think my elbow bends backwards.
  • We have replaced two faucets in our motorhome, the kitchen one and a bathroom fixture. They are Price/Fister and have a lifetime warranty. DH removed it, we took a picture of the labels that are adhered to the lines and emailed it to PF. They send out brand new exact duplicates of what we had. I think Delta has a lifetime warranty as well. So if you have to replace it and it sounds like you will, be sure to install one with a lifetime warranty.
