Why would an auxiliary tank for gasoline be deemed a time bomb? 50 years I've used a n aux. tank for either fuel. Just because its not a factory installation?
The disclaimer is MFGR CYA., not DOT., or a jillion farmers and const. co's would be walking.
I carry an 85 gal. aux., not piped to the truck with an electric pump that I welded up and carry diesel when we travel winters, and gas for mowers and such summers. Its safer there in the truck bed than in portable cans.
