I agree, most states won't allow it. Most gassers now days have a fuel shut off for accidents etc.
Flip a match into a diesel puddle, and another into a gas puddle and you'll know the reason why you can't find a additional tank like a transfer flow for a gas engine.
If you do find one, it will be expensive.
