Larger gas tank

Is it possible to add larger gas tank? I have 2001 F250 5.4V8 RWD Crew Cab. I got 8 MPG towing a 6,000 pounds camper. I had to stop for gas as the gauge was at 1/4, but I only covered 130 miles. I want more range. I checked the internet, there are plenty of larger after market tanks for diesel. My truck is gasser.:(

    And aux tank in the truck bed for gas would be darned dangerous. A rolling bomb. Diesel isn't as flammable which is why you see those tanks for diesel only.

    Same here, would love to add an additional tank. I find add-on tanks for gasser has to be a siphon or pumped, where diesel can be integrated. Very confusing to me since in the old days (80's) you could get trucks with 2 tanks.

    I will be watching this thread for ideas.
