Well the last car/ trucks or Utes finished when local production at Ford closed.,They were still selling till the very end. No the current Ranger did not satisfy people who wanted the car/ truck Utes...

Just add Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux have been fighting for the best selling vehicle title in Australia.
So where is the Holden ( Chevrolet in other markets) Colorado? Well currently it is 17th. On paper it should be a contender,but is selling very poorly.
Ironically a lot worse than the Holden
Ute it replaced . Others have floundered
but not as badly as the Colorado. It has a 1/4 of the sales of the Ranger.
A concern to GM in Australia the Holden Commodore a legacy product is currently 7th in overall sales. They have stopped building the Commodore in Australia. Ford has similar concerns as the Ranger makes up 54% of sales ,the Territory a legacy model is being run down and Everest SUV sells in small numbers.
