Had it checked out today by a diesel mechanic. When I got there the CEL light was on. It had only been driven 30 miles or so since the latest CEL came on. He hooked up his scan tool and found stored codes P0087 and P1011. The same codes that showed up in May when we were told the problem was the fuel pump. Additionally stored code P2509 was showing. None were showing active. The CEL went off when the truck was restarted. Since P2509 has to do with the ECM he was thinking there might be a wiring connectivity issue but none was found. He suggested a computer reflash when I get to a town that has a Dodge dealer. Found TSB 18-013-08 Rev A that may need to be done. He couldn't tell if it had been done. Hope that's all it is. He also told me that as long as truck restarts after it stalls its not fatal and could be driven. Good to know.
