Leaf Springs

We have a 2015 Keystone Summerland TT. While on a trip this summer I noticed uneven wear on the rear axle tires. Assumed it was a bent axle and should be covered under warranty. Took it to Camping World and they all the measurements and took pictures to send Keystone. Keystone denied any coverage stating the leaf springs were severely flattened and trailer had been overloaded at sometime. My trailer fully loaded with all gear except food and clothing is 1000 pounds under the GVWR. It has never been overloaded. Tried to explain this to warranty person at Keystone and fell on deaf ears. Wonder if anybody else has a similar situation. Possible bad leaf springs?

Thank you . Glad im not the only one.

Sorry to the OP for having this issue , I hope it all works out for you.

..... the network of dealers are banging their heads against the wall and are fed up too .
It makes it kind of difficult for the dealer to take care of the customer when the Mfg, shrugs them off as well . Some dealers have to go into their own pocket to help a good repeat customer find a resolution .

IMO, very good advice as suggested , go to a reputable axle shop to install a better component than O.E.M. Why put in the same to break again .
  • Had the same problem 6yrs ago.I ended up replacing the axle and springs. No problem since. One word of wisdom some TT layouts have all the heavy items on one side, if your rig is that way you may need an extra leaf or overload on that side.

Take it to a commercial trailer shop. They are the ones fully qualified to properly determine what might be wrong and fix it for a reasonable price. CW is a seller, can sometimes fix house issues, but definitely is not qualified to diagnose running gear issues.
I did exactly that 2 years ago for my '05 5er when the suspension needed work. The springs are now almost flat. I think they put under sized one on it. I will deal with it next year as this year is pretty much done. Good luck OP.
