leaking shower with minimal access to pipes

We have a 1998 24 ft. terry trailer that has a leak outside under the shower. The gray tank is under and to the side of the shower tub and none of the fresh or grey waterlines are exposed. The leak is actually about a foot to the side of the tank on the outer edge of the shower. Thinking the only way to see what is going on, we need to pull out the shower enclosure. Any advice? Shower stall has three sides and is all one piece. I have no idea how they even got it in there. Thinking we will need to install new shower walls once leak is repaired. We are in California any ideas where to purchase in stall?
  • If it is the shower valve it is the threads on the back of the valve coming loose if its the shower drain the nuts on the p-trap are loose On our 24' there is a closet in front of the shower I had to cut a hole about 10" x 10" to get at the connections and tighten them up I just bought a cheap access panel from Menards and fixed the hole and have access to the valve when I need it. I also put stops on the lines and put braided lines up to the shower valve. I have repiped a few campers and that always seems to be where the issues are.

Start with when does it leak?
    Shower off but system pressurized?
    Shower operating but drain closed?
    Shower operating with drain open?
The answer to those questions will give you direction on what needs fixed.
  • I'm sure it is from the shower and I think it is from the fresh water supply line. Took the access panel off and everything is dry up there. Got to be coming from underneath
  • Put some food coloring in a bucket of water and pour down the shower drain and find out if it's the shower. If not keep changing colors and go from drain to drain to narrow it down.
    Good Luck, Mike
