Leave Taps open, low point caps off when done winterizing

After blowing out all the lines and putting the camper to bed do you leave the caps off the low point drains, open all taps and leave the anode rod out or doe the exact opposite so when spring comes y...

In the past I have never left the taps open, but this past winter, I left the bathroom taps open. I then proceeded to flood the bathroom this spring when I turned the water on and the plug fell into the drain...:S

I think this year, I will leave the taps closed!! I use the pink stuff to winterize, so I really dont remember the reasoning for leaving the taps open.:h
