Close up and tighten up. We travel to Florida over Christmas week, so don't want anything falling off or out. In Florida, winterize again and head north.
FYI ... you should keep your anode rode in the tank. The threads will rust up on the tank making it VERY difficult in the spring to reinsert it if you leave it out all winter. The anode rod threads will rust up also, making it just as hard to insert it. With it in the tank, it's sealed tight and threads won't rust.
