- CeciltExplorerSo seems to be put the caps on the low point drains and anode rod in but don't fully tighten them. What about inside faucets(open or closed) or does it not make one bit of difference? tks

Same here. It's for sure something would crawl in where you don't want it. - solismarisExplorerOpen them, drain the lines, then re-insert them very loose (just turn enough to stop them falling out). That keeps bugs from crawling in. Same for the water heater anode or plug.
