We have both. I don't know which I would get rid of if I had to choose one.
Truck camper was the way to go to Alaska and the rest of the north country, BUT the trailer sure was nice in Florida last month. TT has more room to sit and a dry bath and more storage, but the TC got us to places the trailer wouldn't want to go!
If you can afford it hold onto the camper for a while to make sure you are good with the trailer.
