  • I have a hard time justifying something that might need changing every 7-10 years as is. Just last week for the first time in 7 years of ownership I had to change a tail light bulb on my fiver. While I normally do not travel a lot at night, i do run with the lights on in the rain, so a fair amount of use on the exterior lights. Now if it was my truck? Thats a different story and yes, when the time domes it will get LED bulbs
  • I used Petersen LED lights on the exterior of my Avion. So far they have been excellent, but they weren't cheap.

    This is what I replaced.
  • Bargmann has some LED marker lights for about $4 each, but the ones you show look nicer.

Racemart has them for $3.52. It includes the white base. This is what I bought.
    Red Bargman red LED

    Amber Bargman amber LED

    I hope this helps.
  • To answer your questions, no to both. I did look up Peterson clearance/marker lights model V169KA or KR, and they are $9.89 in a big RV catalog. Nice and I would change mine and the DOT lights out except the DOT lights are behind cabines both in front and in the back and plans call for a Winnie VIA 25D in the next five years and $150 is a lot of money.
  • Maybe I'm not comparing apples to apples but they seem a little expensive to me.
