A couple years ago I bought a 16' strip with Wireless remote off eBay for less than $30. I attached mine to the roller and it worked well for about 2 months until the pig tail wiring adapter at the end of the strip broke (where you plug the power wiring into). No replacement parts available so I removed and threw it away.
I recommend staying away from the cheap ones.
