I installed LED lights in my motorhome too. I liked them so well that I ordered some more 24 LED panels and installed them around the house at a friend's place. They run on a used 12 volt battery and 90 watt solar panel.
For my house, I plan on installing a few LED panels and run them from a pair of 120 watt solar panels. This will be stored in a pair of golf cart batteries, and run several lights. I plan on converting a floor lamp by installing 4 or 6 of the LED panels in it. Also I can power 12 volt items such as the answering machine directly from the 12 VDC power instead of using the small power converters they are running from today. To bad that most flat screen Tv's use 14 to 19 volt adapters to run them. Yes they plug into 120 volt wall receptacle, but then use a DC converter to make 14 to 19 volts that the TV set actually runs on.
LED's are wonderful energy savers! I have changed several of my home lights to LED's and some to CFL's. This will save a bunch of money each year.
