- Ol__GoldExplorerIf you apply pressure to one side of that grommet mounted light it will push in. Then you can give it a twist and pull it out. If the grommet has turned hard it may be best to replace them. The lights and grommets should not be expensive. They are commonly found in the trucking industry everywhere. The key is to look at how the wires plug into the back. Get the same type of termination and you will be ok. You won't break the light as they are built very tough. If needed you can push the grommet in along with the light and separate them once they are apart from the vehicle. Hope this helps.

Ours too.
Heat the rubber rings in some very hot water. Then they are easy to push them back into place with the new LED light. - 6pacExplorerOurs is mounted in a rubber ring in the bumper!
