LED solar motion light

I order one of these to install on the rear of my camper. Might be a good choice for those with towed vehicles to hook and unhook in less that desirable light conditions.
Will report on it when it is installed.Solar LED

I have used the LED power Motion detector lights for years... They only come on when they detect motion after dark and then goes OFF when they time out... Seems to be always available to use just being charged by the high sun during the day...

Good thing to have around for me...

  • To OP, I ordered one of those lights.
Its pretty good. But full sun all day, mine will not stay lite all night.
Not sure how many hours? Maybe 1/2 of nite?
  • I've been using HF lights for over a year.
They have separate panel with pretty long wire.
Pros is that plenty of light and you can move the panel to area with good sun exposure (on camper I just clamp the light to the ladder).
Cons is that with that power the batteries don't last long.
Was never able to time it, but looks that on my house after few -1 minute activation the power is off.

  • I got something similar but its from harbor Freight, that one comes on at dark and will last through the night, it is a nice light that enables you to see to walk around the front of the TT and as you approach it it brightens nicely .We dry camp almost always and has really come in handy. I have one on the front and rear of the trailer. I have one our TT and on our cabover. I've had these lights for a couple of years and have worked perfectly. You never know about Harbor Freight stuff.

I don't think the Harbor Freight light is as nice looking but is another choice.
