Lemon Law???

Hey all...Well the third major manufacturing warranty repair is scheduled for two weeks from now. I am very frustrated and would love to pick the brains of those that have had a few trailers before.

We purchased from out of state, over 7 hours drive to pick up or take to service. There is a local service rep about 45 minutes away, but they took over 6 weeks to do the last repair, and so damaged the walls, etc that we don't trust them to take care of our trailer.

My sales rep has said that the manufacturer should come pick up our rig and then go through it with a fine tooth comb, as he had them do that with a different brand by the same Mfr. The only problem the dealer is about 2 hours north, where we are 6 hours east. I have talked to the Sales Manager for the Mfr and he totally understands our frustration, yet their service department has yet to call me back as they were notified on Monday as well and now its Wednesday.

What would you do?

  • Legal talk is frowned on here.
If as it sounds you have some serious issues, most dealers are not really capable of doing major stuff. A return to the factory is often the best choice. Many here have gone that route and been totally happy with the result.... Most report a TT that came back better than new with some extras thrown in.

I'm an attorney in So Cal, but I don't do lemon law cases or know the field enough to give expert advice. I would get a consultation with an attorney that specializes in Lemon Law cases, they're consultations are normally free.
