Always chock the wheels before you unhook. I had a single axle trailer once, I put down the front jack, unhooked and then went into the trailer and walked to the back. As I did this the front jack of the trailer came off of the ground and the trailer started to roll down the hill toward the lake with me inside!!! I ran for the door which luckily was on the front of the trailer and as I did the jack came crashing back down and dug into the dirt. I only had rolled a couple of feet and there was no harm done but, I was terribly embarrassed. Thankfully nobody was watching and I re hooked and moved the trailer back into the proper spot. But, this time I carefully made sure the wheels were blocked before I unhooked .
