When visiting a Fairgrounds camping area that is only used for special events in your first PUP, be sure to check your pedestal has power BEFORE unhooking, leveling, setting everything up.
I now carry a $5 non-contact voltage connector.
And the advice given by another above about not assuming your camper has a major problem until you've checked the CG's electric...very wise for the same reasons!
