As a youngster (beginner), I already have a few stories and tips myself. I am quickly learning to not jump the gun and assume a problem is a large one. I've spent lots of time troubleshooting to have the problem resolved by "plugging in", "flipping the breaker", "connecting the battery", etc. I also DO NOT let myself get distracted when doing my departure checklist and the poop chute. Paid the price for both already.
