Make sure you hook your battery up correctly and not backwards. You may spend all day the first day of your trip figuring out why you have no electric. Always carry extra fuses (come in handy for when battery is hooked up backwards and you blew several fuses). Otherwise you ay pens almost all day running from camping store to camping store o find everyone is out but the autozone up the street has it in stock. (this was myrtle beach so fortunately lots of places to check).
Don't loosen your drain plug on a full water heater just to check to see if it filled (if you do, you better stand out of the way because a missile is coming through your campsite and the ensuing water flush will send your chairs flying. If you do try this then make sure the city water is turned off or you will have a flood. Sad part is we had to explain to the neighbors wife this was my DHs brilliant idea and not her DHs idea.
Don't play amateur chemist in your holding tanks. Even if those drop in packets don't list formaldehyde in them, they apparently do contain it. These DO NOT MIX well with bleach!!!!!!!
Do not forget to put your antenna down before pulling out (hanging keys on the antenna crank is very helpful).
Looking at this list, I think we have a very forgiving and loving trailer. It has managed to survive our stupidity so far.
