Same here. I toss my keys in a strongbox inside the vehicle (Console Vaults are great for this), then use the keypad to get back in after a hike or trip. I also keep a non-chip key hidden in a lockbox just in case the battery died.
I'm looking at an A-Pass Touch aftermarket keypad for my next rig, since this works with almost anything (Mercedes, Fiat, Chevrolet, etc.) Not worrying about lockouts is nice, and well worth the cost of the keypad.
