As Jerseyjim said some time back, all these annoyances are part of the RV experience. They are not likely to change.
You drive, merge and operate knowing you have about 50 ft. of rig behind you. I give plenty of warning before I move over and I have had a few tight spots while merging.
Merging is in my opinion the worst because you have no choice, the driver you are cutting off simply has to figure that out.
