BTW as far as I'm concerned CR is a joke but do find it interesting that if it's a Mopar on their hit list you guys eat it up. So now that it's Ford with five of the top ten worst lets see how you boys react. :B

Ford pushed the MyFordTouch system out long before it was ready for prime time. Now they are paying the price. The proof of this is that in 2010-2011 they were rated as the top domestic MFG.

We bought a new ecoboost Edge about 1.5 years ago. We understood that we might have issues with the MFT system as early adopters, and we were okay with that. But understandably, most people that pay 40 grand for a car don't want to deal with glitches.

All that being said, we haven't had a lick of trouble out of the MFT, or any other part of the Edge, we've only been back to the dealer for a MFT version upgrade, which seemed to improve appearance mostly.

My Wife traded a nice Volvo for her Edge and she absolutely loves it and all the tech and luxury features .

She's only got 10K miles on her so far, we'll see what the future holds.
