Consumer Reports. Yukkk. Should be called Comrade Reports, they hate American anything so much. But apparently the Top Ten list posted was from a sample of some other rags subscribers.
2 of those 5 Fords are C-Max's. Hybrids. Nobody makes a good one. Except maybe the Prius. The Escape with the 1.6 is a dog, only offered to make the CAFE look good. Am surprised at the Explorer though, they run and run and run.... 10+ years on the wife's 2002 before she traded it off on an Edge Limited. The Taurus? $45K-$55K for an Eco Taurus? Many other options out there that do more for less $$$. But you have to go foreign to get it.
The My Ford version of Sync really sucked when it first came out. It was designed by Microsoft, so that says volumes. Problems with registering phones (we went through it with the Edge), lousy electronic ergonomics, very limited personalization options. The Sync in my F150 is great, but its the "baby Sync", not the My Ford which I absolutely will not have in a truck. The only advantage to the My Sync is the GPS mapping. A smart phone will do that.
Outstanding sales numbers just posted by Ford. Lots of people buying them. Too bad about GM loosing all that market share. And Fiat, oops, I mean Ram, some day they will might crawl out of third place.
